Beautiful

Yet demonic. Alluring yet dangerous. It's a balance not captured well, and though this particular piece does lean more towards the soft and sensual, especially with her top and facial features, there is a hard edge there, mostly shown in her posture. Well done, thank you for sharing.

Very very well done

Excellent shading and colouring. Great use of light. The fur looks like fur. All in all it's a great picture.

The only true negative I can pull out is the background. While the moon and sky and clouds are great, the ground blends in a bit. While this does emphasize the main drawing, it is something that could be worked on. Not near a big issue though. Very well done.

Zero-drk responds:

thank you very much for your time and comment :D

yeah i know i have always been a sucka for bgs :( sorry

Great style

As I said on another piece of yours, I really like your style. This drawing really is a good display of your skills. The hair and face are great, and the proportions seem spot on.
I can't really spot anything negative, so that just speaks volumes.

Images of Comics

Reminds me of some of my favorite artists in the comic book industry, and you do really well in this style. The shading in particular is very well done. The face is also great, and seeing how hard a face is to do, excellent job.

As for negatives, I do notice that one breast seems to be lower than the other. Had she been leaning or such it would have seemed a bit more natural, but her shoulders are squared. Indeed, the right should be lower than the left, as there is no noticeable bra strap on the right breast (right and left by viewing the drawing, not the character's position).

All in all, well done, great style.

Crazy bright

While it doesn't seem to be overly creative, its rather pretty! The colours are quite vivid, and sneak through your eyes and into the crevices of the brain. Pushing and prodding like little colour tentacles or something.

The title is rather fitting.

DarkX64 responds:

Everybody loves a color frenzy!

Color tentacles...

I don't even know how to respond that. Thanks for the review tho!

Best of your three

I have to say, with the excellent shading this is my favorite. I think it lost a bit of its depth when you coloured it. The only issue I can really point out, is that the tip of the spartan laser starts to blend with his armour kind of. It's hard to describe. Though you solved it in the colour version.

BIuefox responds:

Thanks, ya i really like this one also i didn't like the colored in one to much but i had to give it a shot and see how it would come out. I see what your saying about the laser on his back ya the top barrel kinda dose start to blend a little with his armor. "Actually in truth its supposed to be a combat rifle, I kinda modified and put like 2 more barrels on and now it dose kinda look like a spartan laser lol"

Well done

The anatomy of this picture is much better than the other pictures. He seems like a human rather than a block with a head. The biggest issue I have is that the hair seems like a solid block. Rather than a solid colouring try something more like a bunch of small pencil lines with no solid edges. Let it seem more natural.
Other than that the piece looks good.

KurtWilder2027 responds:

Thanks!

Good interpretation.

It is a sign of a good imagination that you can visualize something from words so clearly. However, the character does not have very good anatomy. Or was this intentional?

KurtWilder2027 responds:

I see it as more of a spirit rather than a person.

An interesting portrayal of Death

It is slightly different than the usual skull and cloak and scythe visual. Is that a hockey mask that he's wearing there? I'm not entirely sure, but its new.

KurtWilder2027 responds:

It was a phase I went through. The whole "mask" concept symbolized my darker times. This character is looong dead to me though. I don't even have the origional drawing anymore.

horror and comedy clash with great style

It reminds me in a way of the movie "Feast", and that's not a bad thing. The lighting offers a sense of horror and grimness, while the subject itself draws laughs rather than screams. Pika-CHEW's facial features are the show stealer here though. The mouth and pronounced skull under drawn skin make for what would have been a horrifying creature had it not been based off a popular anime.
Excellent work.

I enjoy writing, and I enjoy sharing what I have with folks. I suppose that makes me an entertainer of sorts. I hope you can find something of mine that you enjoy and helps pass the time. Leave a comment, or not, the choice is yours.
