Nah, they don't really talk about the war any more. They talk about the muslims that join the military and start killing others in the military here in United States. Now their probally talking about what happened yesturday in Washington state.

Something like a few cops got shot or had a shoot out with somebody.

All Taliban are Islamic. Taliban are fanatics. They hate everyone who isn't Muslim. Hell they went into a Russian public school and raped the mothers and children, before killing a bunch of Spetznaz when they stormed the school. Taliban are evil fuckers.
However, not all Muslims are fanatics. Some are quite awesome people, and nice. Like the one sergeant I went overseas with. He was an awesome guy.
Has it occurred to any1 that no one's commented on her good writing in like 10 or some odd responses? Yeah I've visited/read this page multiple times out of boredom, trying NOT to leave a comment that doesn't pertain to her great writing and that's without looking at the previous chapters too! I kinda thought to say something today because I woke up one day with the picture on your post fresh in my mind, followed shortly by Haley sucking the farmer dry(which I envisioned crystal clearly due to your superior writing the first time around, good job:). And I want to say 3 more things: a) It's your story, so it's your say, but I'M willing to bet that the farmer's daughter is the one who will reveal Haley's secret. Any takers? b) I left you some nice praise in my first comment but you were SO fixated on that Author's Portal bit. Why? Are you playing modest? =) That's okay, just let me know in advance. And c) How is progress on the next one? Do tell.

b) I'm actually a strange cross between arrogant and modest. I know I'm a good writer, but I don't think I'm amazing, and I don't like to shove it into people's faces. I just like to entertain.

um... no. Not at all close. Killing isn't a fun thing to do. While neccesary sometimes in my job I never really enjoyed it. Besides, I have no reason to harm you.

Well a US soldier, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, shot and killed 12 and wounded 32 at a military base. He was wounded in the process.
Oh wait. Yeah I did hear about that. He was a shrink too... which is scary.
Thing is, crazy shit happens all the time on American bases when guys are going over to Iraq and such. There was something along the lines of 13 suicides in the one month that I was training down in Texas.

Well their have been other cases were the military was hurt by terrorist attacks from the inside like that guy. I've alos heard some thing from the news like a muslim joining the military just to toss a gernade at the others. Thing is I think that the US is to big of a melting pot and religious beliefs are to open. Seems like muslims are getting really upset with US involvement in the middle east.
When were you training in Texas?
Over a year ago now, before I went over to Afghanistan.
