Well I do try for brutal, but because of desensitization sometimes its hard for me to succeed. I'll of course keep up trying to be as brutal, but I must ask what you mean by hitting rock bottom?
Also if fighting with bare hands, grasp the bottom of the chin and the top of the skull firmly, then twist the head so that the neck snaps. Quite effective.

Incredible episode! It really lived up to the expectations I got from the Halloween special. I hope there are more specials in the future.
I found the way Liam and Sam took their childrens' death interesting in comparison to the way Haley took her familys' death. I guess they felt more attached to their children, thus sapping their will to live, while Haley had the courage to survive.
Great installment. I hope their will be more, if only around ten more.
I find that when people loose their children it hurts more than when you loose other members of your family. Haley was single, and didn't have any kids. That's my justification. That and everyone handles loss differently. Besides Sam is still trying to survive. She's just messed up.
There will be more regular chapters of course, and more specials.
