I enjoy writing, and I enjoy sharing what I have with folks. I suppose that makes me an entertainer of sorts. I hope you can find something of mine that you enjoy and helps pass the time. Leave a comment, or not, the choice is yours.

That is very good indeed, it looks i'm reading a book. You have excellent skill on making stories like this, please continue with your work.

I shall indeed. I'm pleased you've enjoyed what I have in so far.

Your skills in the way of storytelling are amazing as usual. Truly epic.

Why thank ye.

Gad, I'm sorry it took me forever to get back to you...

I do agree. I've got a feeling that this will stretch out further than Blood. Not that I mind. Any excuse to read literature as good as this, I'll take it.

"You had your chance to walk away and live. You've sealed your fate,".
>:)
Sometimes, simpler is better.

That was a good fight sequence. A little quick though. I understand she's just fighting drunken stupid soldiers (*cough* cannon *cough* fodder *cough cough*) who probably were let in the service more for their reckless bravery than their swordsmanship skills in the first place, which wasn't unusual then. But when the competition's that easy, it tends to go at a pace that can make reader's have to double back. I didn't but it came close. Fights are good. Fights involving two characters with names? Better than good. I'm not trying to rush you into making one right away. When it comes, it will come naturally like it should. But I'm just reminding you that for each of these mini skirmishes you have is that much more you have to make the big battle BIGGER. I can hardly wait.

The picture is good. But I like others better.

You're still doing good and I still await the next one.

"BEHOLD!!! All the sky, earth, water and even fire converge together to seal your miserable fates! Prepare for a tragedy unlike any hell you've ever witnessed, other worldly or otherwise! PREPARE FOR ABSOLUTE ANNIHILATION!!!!"

PS: That speech was something I came up with a while back. I'll put it to good use yet.

I'm happy you're more than willing to read the full thing as it unfolds.

As for the small skirmishes against nameless enemies. It can be difficult to write them out, especially if its a battle against nameless enemies on a larger scale. However, many times in combat the soldiers on either side did not know whom their enemies were. That was war. Later on there will be characters fighting other characters rather than simple cannon fodder. I do hope it will come out well, and some of the sword fights I have planned will hopefully be longer than Haley's short battle against John.

I just thought the picture fit the mood of the initial scene, which is why I used it.

I wonder where you'll use that speech... perhaps in Guardian?

I don't know that that particular line will be in Guardian. When I conceived that line (I'M A FATHER!!! I'll get back to you in nine months!), I imagined a more fantasy setting as opposed to sci-fi. But you never know. Life as we know it is subject to change. Just as my intents are.

In retrospect, I see the reasoning in your picture choice. It really makes me wonder though. Gwenhyfar claimed her relationship with Katelyn was lust. Yet she can't disregard the company she gave her when no one else would. It really makes me curious about Gwen and leaves lots of questions. Too many to bother you with. I must admit, you have succeeded in piquing my curiosity with this interesting character. While fights are something to look forward to, I can't wait for you to delve deeper into her character as well.

Speaking of battles, I'm eager at the promise of better battles than Blood. I don't know how you'll top Haley versus John and stay within your constraints, but I'm sure you'll pull it off.

I'm still enjoying Elishka's line. Not gonna lie, I totally find her desirable. Not just cause she be female, not just cause she's a vampire but also she kicks so much ass. It's a sad thing that she's such a fantasy character. I have yet to find a girl like that.

Crazy curls crave crippled corny curvy chicks choosing chores and chains,

DarkX.

Stories and plots change all the time. War and Blood have both changed so very much. More so War, I change its outcome with each page I put down. New journeys, characters, battles etc. It's always changing, and I look forward to seeing how Guardian turns out.

I love Gwenhwyfar. She is by far my favorite character in this story. Her past is relatively known, but I will be putting a small spin on it to make it fit this story better. She will of course be explained more and more in the coming chapters. As to her relationship with Katelyn, she did truly enjoy the time she spent with her. Human contact afterall, but she could see that it was not love she felt for the woman. Lust can take on multiple forms, rather than simply sexual. The fact that you are looking forward to characterization as much as gore tells me that I'm succeeding in creating a truly worthy tale, rather than a simple thinned plot action story.

The third Crusade is still being waged in the east, making room for some large battles, but there will be more, and perhaps not in the desert, I can not reveal that just yet. There will be many small skirmishes and raids before any large battles occur. Some that I'm actually looking forward to writing.

Elishka I designed when I wrote that "Secrets under Sun" story, and she ended up replacing another character I had in mind. That other character was much more of a filler, and I rather like Elishka. I have however met girls that kick as much ass as she does. In how she behaves, she's not entirely fantastical.

I can see why she would be. I'm growing to like Gwenhwyfar too.

And I only made that "fantasy," remark about Elishka because I have met no girl like that AT ALL. I know they exist somewhere! Just not where I am... :(

Since you brought up Guardian, I'll have you know that the introductory post is almost done. I'm putting a lot into it, including the March artist monthly post. Yeah, February and January went AWOL. >_< But I plan to make up for lost time. And, hopefully, I'll get it up today.

Just so you know, I like talking to you a lot. So much so, I'm considering getting a MSN. Fair warning though, it's not the foremost item on my agenda.

The crusades...
I read about them, know about them...
If it's really your intent to bring that into the story, things are gonna get reeeeeeealll messy. Unfortunately, I don't remember what the Third Crusade was fought for.

Until time says "NEXT,"

Looking forward to reading your post when you get it up finally.

However, I've already started to implement the Crusade. Lord du Lac's raid on the Saracen encampment in the desert. Part of the Crusades my friend. The Third Crusade was chiefly led by Richard the Lionheart of England to regain control of Jerusalem from Saladin. This is a backdrop mostly for the story, though Richard may indeed show up as a character. He was one of my more favorite medieval persons. So how do you mean things will get real messy with the Crusades brought in?

your story is getting better nao.just work a little harder.

Thank you... any tips or points to improve?

i cant read all that on account of my small brain

So I see...

I think you made a typo in the first chapter. When describing Katelyn you said she was in her "mind twenties"?

That would be a typo. Thank you for pointing it out, I'll go fix it.

Newgrounds froze for me for several days, I'm pretty pissed.
It wouldn't let me open up private messages or my profile or anything.

Do you plan to work on a series?

It froze for another few hours.
How long do you plan this to be?

You don't have a planned ending?

When inspiration strikes?

Tough job being an author.

So it's like a hobby?

What made you decide to start writing?

Oh? You fought in Afghanistan?

What did you work as?

Any injuries/serious injuries?

So armor can stop bullets now? :P
