An interesting portrayal of Death
It is slightly different than the usual skull and cloak and scythe visual. Is that a hockey mask that he's wearing there? I'm not entirely sure, but its new.

It was a phase I went through. The whole "mask" concept symbolized my darker times. This character is looong dead to me though. I don't even have the origional drawing anymore.
Dark indeed
She looks like she's brooding or something along those lines. Like your other picture of this character, the colours and expression really set the mood for the dark and dramatic.
Mood is definitely something I really try to push for in my pieces. Thanks for the review!
Good contrast
It's a nice contrast to the other piece of this character... "Inner Darkness" you called it. Regardless the bright colours and textures you used here offer an excellent source of mood that matches the expression perfectly.
Thank you! I enjoyed reading all the reviews you've left on my work. =)
Awesome
I can see the Prince of Persia influence that you mentioned. The picture is very fantasy like, but it is gorgeous to behold. The knives are excellently designed, and I commend your work.
Thanks so much, sinfulwolf.... Greatly appreciate your input. *smiles*
Very Pretty
She's very pretty, and I like the tattoo beneath her eye. Her hair style is very nice as well.
*smiles* thanks...
Quite interesting
I like the perspective and almost "mirror like" effect you have between the artist and her work. The gender swap between artist and portrait strengthens that effect.
Yeah I know right...
I wanted that effect and I'm quite happy with it too...*smiles*
Dark and Dramatic
Well, first off. Excellent drawing skills. I had to favorite this because of the loving attention to detail, which goes a little more than skin (or in this case paper) deep.
This picture I find is a much darker, grittier and more realistic view of Link and Navi than the games portray. Besides that though, it is also quite dramatic. You show the warrior's strength with the blood stains and dirt and shading. You show his heart with the gentle cradling of Navi, the only one who was alongside him as he fought through all those battle fields. Sure he had allies who would be there occasionally, but through the entire trudge across the darkness of Hyrule, Navi was there the whole time.
Well I got a little off track there, but I'll finish by saying this is a beautiful and excellent piece. Very well done.
beautifully written thanks
Lovely
I really like this. The fact that it looks like its all free style drawn, with pencil and ink rather than photoshop, just makes it that much more impressive.
The character looks very much undead, and the wings add that bit of supernatural to the image to make it that much more arresting to my eyes. Congratulations. And I would favorite it... but its not letting me. Sorry :(
Thank you! It is just a pencil drawing, actually. =) I'm really glad you like it. She's one of my favorite drawings I've done. :D
Best of yours yet
this one looks the best of all yours guns. At first glance everything seems perfect, and though through study one would be able to find mistakes, in motion in a game or some such it would be perfect.
Thank you for the review. I really tried hard on this one and yeah I see some flaws.
Looks good
Like I said about yer FN, it could fit into an arcade game pretty easily, but more of a sidescroller.
I think so to. Thanks for the review.
I enjoy writing, and I enjoy sharing what I have with folks. I suppose that makes me an entertainer of sorts. I hope you can find something of mine that you enjoy and helps pass the time. Leave a comment, or not, the choice is yours.
