5 gib, 5 star. Well done.

Sabtastic responds:

yes gibbit

Always loved your style. You do people really well, and your zombies are unique. Love it.

SickDeathFiend responds:

thanks

Congratulations

Well done on your win for this year's Madness Day. After looking at your competition I say you fully deserve it. Well done, and best of luck for next year.

Kamikaye responds:

Thank you :)

Tis quite good.

My only real quip about the piece would be the rank on the shoulder. You said it was Canadian military, and so the thin stripe should be just a little thicker. About half the width of the bigger one.

Other than that, it's pretty cool.

Paxilon responds:

Ahahaha, I was concentrating so hard on getting the order of the stripes (thin on top, thick on bottom etc etc) that I didn't even think of the actual widths XD
Glad you like it, and thanks for spotting that!

Excellent work

The clean lines, excellent shading, and well defined pose and posture all add to the character of this piece. Theme aside (which I love by the way) it comes across very well. Thank ye for sharing.

ChaosMoomoo responds:

Thanx :)

Very very well done

Excellent shading and colouring. Great use of light. The fur looks like fur. All in all it's a great picture.

The only true negative I can pull out is the background. While the moon and sky and clouds are great, the ground blends in a bit. While this does emphasize the main drawing, it is something that could be worked on. Not near a big issue though. Very well done.

Zero-drk responds:

thank you very much for your time and comment :D

yeah i know i have always been a sucka for bgs :( sorry

Crazy bright

While it doesn't seem to be overly creative, its rather pretty! The colours are quite vivid, and sneak through your eyes and into the crevices of the brain. Pushing and prodding like little colour tentacles or something.

The title is rather fitting.

DarkX64 responds:

Everybody loves a color frenzy!

Color tentacles...

I don't even know how to respond that. Thanks for the review tho!

Best of your three

I have to say, with the excellent shading this is my favorite. I think it lost a bit of its depth when you coloured it. The only issue I can really point out, is that the tip of the spartan laser starts to blend with his armour kind of. It's hard to describe. Though you solved it in the colour version.

BIuefox responds:

Thanks, ya i really like this one also i didn't like the colored in one to much but i had to give it a shot and see how it would come out. I see what your saying about the laser on his back ya the top barrel kinda dose start to blend a little with his armor. "Actually in truth its supposed to be a combat rifle, I kinda modified and put like 2 more barrels on and now it dose kinda look like a spartan laser lol"

Well done

The anatomy of this picture is much better than the other pictures. He seems like a human rather than a block with a head. The biggest issue I have is that the hair seems like a solid block. Rather than a solid colouring try something more like a bunch of small pencil lines with no solid edges. Let it seem more natural.
Other than that the piece looks good.

KurtWilder2027 responds:

Thanks!

Good interpretation.

It is a sign of a good imagination that you can visualize something from words so clearly. However, the character does not have very good anatomy. Or was this intentional?

KurtWilder2027 responds:

I see it as more of a spirit rather than a person.

I enjoy writing, and I enjoy sharing what I have with folks. I suppose that makes me an entertainer of sorts. I hope you can find something of mine that you enjoy and helps pass the time. Leave a comment, or not, the choice is yours.
