[U: First Thing Game]

Anti-climatic

It had potential, and the artwork and animation were both really good. However the punchline was rather... lacking.

Perhaps make it more clear in the end that the one character is upset, or angry or whatever, and have the kick a little more impactful. A bigger sound, a scream of agony from the abusee. Something just to make it really stand out and pop. As it is, it just kind of goes on without drawing much attention to itself.

The rest of it was pretty good though.

Wrong place

I have to say, that on a primarily English Website, a soundless flash with words that are done all in another language will loose a massive user base. I can't really tell what's going on, for even though the graphics and animation themselves seem pretty good, there's no voice or English translation to move the story along.

Just wow

The animation was very fluid, and a pleasure to watch. The art style really fit the piece, with a great clash of colour. Finally and perhaps most importantly, you've shown Nene in a light I've never seen before. Very well done to everyone involved with this project. Thank you for sharing.

Rather entertaining

In a lot of ways, this reminded me of the best part of the bar scene in Heavy Metal 2000. You did a good job in the animation and everything ran pretty smoothly. nothing appeared weird (unless it was supposed to), but was all rather natural considering.

Sounds were good, but it would have been nice to have voices fitting the various characters, rather than sound clips. Especially the over used Hydralisk one.

My only big negative remark had no impact on your score, and others will hate me for this, even you, but why the stripperific outfit? I mean I know it was half the draw of the animation, but as an assassin, you'd think she'd be a bit more covered to hold a bit more gear, and high heels really isn't fun to run around in, especially in a combat situation.

[Luigi's Castle Calamity]

Not horrible

It was fairly amusing throughout the piece, however as Divergence said, each segment seemed fairly predictable. I knew Luigi wouldn't destroy the castle. Still, good use of sprites and sounds. Well done there.

However, you really need to work on your grammar. Throughout the text scrolling at the end I found numerous mistakes, and it just didn't go together well. I suggest either proof reading your work before submitting it, or have someone else proof read for you.

That's it?

Yes, St. Patrick rid Ireland of snakes, but this simply used lines from a movie, with areally horribly dubbed in "Ireland" on top of sub-par animation, before going into a random song yelling "fuck you snakes". The song wasn't even catchy. Could have been much better.

Thought provoking

You script was excellent, with a great ending and message to the viewer. The voice acting was very appropriate for the tone, and the black and white imagery, replaced by the vivid colours for the dream sequence was brilliant.

All in all, well done.

Shattering

The imagery combined with music produced something so very touching, and to me, heart wrenching. The feelings expressed here were deep wells, and I don't think I've seen anything like it here on Newgrounds.

I hope she forgave.

Clever

I was expecting a virus or something, but when the CDs popped out, I had myself a good laugh.

Again, same with your Pelican short, the art is good, and the music just adds to the mood and theme of it all. Good short.

[The Playground Song]

Different, and a good ending.

When it started I was thinking that this was just adorable. The voice, the music, and the animation all came together into this cute little package.
Then the ending came, violently splashing the screen with colour, and the animation style even seemed different. The impact... funny as hell. Well done.
